Exceed client expectations

Our business has been built on our ability to deliver on our commitments, by providing the very best workmanship, using only quality products, and maintaining exceptional levels of customer service.

  • Operate under the highest safety and environmentally efficient standards

  • Provide leading practice expertise

  • Deliver cost effective solutions

  • Maintain quality long term relationships with clients, suppliers and the communities we operate in

Safety comes first

For us, safety is not just about compliance with policies and procedures – it’s about the organisational culture of our employees and subcontractors.

This includes:

  • Shared attitudes, beliefs, customs, and systems that have been developed over time

  • Constant review of Safety Management plans, policies and procedures

  • Safety records and statistics (including corrective actions registers), which are maintained to ensure we are continuously improving our workplaces

Demonstration of safe work practices

We’re not just about words, we’re about actions. For example, during a heavy vehicle workshop project at BMC South Walker Creek Mine, our commitment to safe work practices was evident and rewarded by the client. The BMC Project Management Team presented WHF with a plaque to express their appreciation of WHF’s safety efforts throughout the project.

All of our managers, supervisors, employees and contractors contributed to this reward of recognition through demonstrating that complex tasks can be achieved in demanding workplaces, without putting workers at risk and maintaining a positive attitude and commitment to safe work practices.

Giving back

We believe that the success that we have enjoyed for over two decades is directly related to our involvement with the local communities where we operate. WHF loves getting involved with local communities by:

  • Supporting local sporting teams

  • Attending community events

  • Volunteering our labour

The trust and support of these communities is due to shared information, openly listening and responding to people’s concerns, and demonstrating that we care about the community and are committed to its development.

We’ve earned our reputation as a premier contractor by making integrity, commitment, performance, service and safety part of every project, every day.
